This isn't stuffy fine print -- it's a simple set of shared guidelines between you and the Brobo team, built to make sure every musician has a smooth, productive practice experience. By downloading, opening, or using Brobo, you're letting us know you're aligned with these ground rules.
🎹 What You're Welcome To Do
You have full, free access to every Brobo feature with no restrictions, including:
Unlimited timed metronome sessions with the large on-screen visualizer, seamless BPM control, and all available click sound packs
Building a personal exercise library of any size, for scales, chords, songs, and technical drills -- add custom durations, default tempos, and custom cover art for every entry
Tracking practice streaks, weekly activity summaries, post-session recaps, trend charts, practice heatmaps, and earning all available practice badges
Using the built-in microphone-powered tuner for fast, accurate pitch checks
Customizing all metronome sounds and app preferences to match your unique practice style
Exporting all your practice sessions and exercise library data as JSON or CSV files to use, edit, or migrate anywhere you'd like

We built Brobo to be the practice companion we always wanted as musicians, so we promise:
We will never lock core practice features behind a login wall, paywall, or mandatory account creation
We do not collect, store, or share any of your personal practice data unless you explicitly choose to send it to us for support purposes
Your locally stored practice data is 100% yours -- we have no access to it unless you choose to share exports with our team
We will keep prioritizing metronome accuracy, tuner reliability, and rolling out new features requested by the Brobo community
We will never show intrusive ads that interrupt your practice flow
🧩 Simple Ground Rules
Just a few small requests to keep things working well for all Brobo users:
Please don't modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the Brobo app without our explicit written permission
Remember your practice data is stored locally on your device -- we recommend backing up your JSON/CSV exports regularly if you don't want to lose your library if you delete the app or switch devices
The tuner feature requires microphone access to work -- we only use your microphone for real-time pitch detection, and we never record or store any audio from your device
If you run into bugs, glitches, or have feature requests, feel free to shoot us an email at support@brobo.app -- we read every single message from users
If you share your practice progress or Brobo clips online, a shoutout to @BroboApp is always appreciated, but never required
🔄 Updates To This Agreement
We may update these guidelines occasionally as we add new features to Brobo. When we do, we'll post a clear notification inside the app, and update the effective date at the top of this page. If you keep using Brobo after the update goes live, that means you're comfortable with the revised terms.
